About Us

We are a Romanian couple — Gabriela (an accountant)  and George (a programmer) — who moved from the city to Bulgaria more than 10 years ago. What started as a spontaneous decision, choosing Pavel simply by chance, has turned into a home we truly love.

Over the years we bought, renovated, and sold several houses, and even tried to start a goat farm. These experiences gave us first-hand knowledge of rural properties here — the opportunities, the challenges, and how the system works. For foreigners it may look complicated mainly because of the Cyrillic alphabet and the unfamiliar procedures, but we’ve already gone through it and can guide others.

We also realized that large agencies based in Veliko Tarnovo are less present in the villages. They focus on the city and bigger deals. We, on the other hand, live here — we’re flexible, mobile, and close to the owners and the houses.

That’s how Pavel Homes started — applying what we know, right here where we live, in a niche that nobody else really covers.

What we believe in

• Community: Helping local families sell their unused houses also helps the village grow again.
• Local knowledge: We’ve dealt with Bulgarian procedures ourselves, so we can guide clients through the same steps.

Why here

Pavel and the surrounding villages are hidden gems: rolling hills, open landscapes, peace and quiet. The distance to cities is not a problem — with a car, Veliko Tarnovo, Svishtov or even Bucharest are close. And the future looks even better: a new highway nearby, a future international airport south of Bucharest, and a new Danube bridge on the horizon.

For us, this business is not just work — it’s also part pleasure. We enjoy bringing new people to our village and sharing the life we’ve discovered here.
